Kersten Europe delivered various small parts for Thornton Bank High Voltage Station.

Thornton Bank high voltage station is located in the North Sea, 29km off the Belgium Coast. The total offshore wind park covers an area of 20 km² and contains 54 wind turbines, with a total capacity of 325,5 MW. This equals the annual power consumption of 600.000 inhabitants.

The wind farm will be built in 3 phases. Phase I: 6 turbines (gravity foundation. Phase II and III: 48 turbines.
The Thornton Bank Wind farm is expected to be fully operational by mid 2013.
