Kersten Europe has been awarded the bending of rectangular hollow sections for the external maintenance platform of the ANHOLT Offshore Wind Farm.

The ANHOLT Offshore Wind Farm is located in Kattegat, Denmark, approximately 21 km from the Danish shore.
Constructions of the wind farm officially began on 13 January 2012. The first power will be produced before the end of 2012, and it will be fully commissioned before the end of 2013.

The farm has 111 turbines (monopile foundations), which are spread out over 145 km². It will be the largest offshore wind farm in Denmark. When the ANHOLT Wind Farm is in operation, it will be able to supply 400 MW, equivalent to the annual energy consumption of 400.000 households.
