The redevelopment of the Philharmonie de Paris is beautiful futuristic design by Jean Nouvel and located in the Parc de la Villette in Paris. It is a symphonic concert hall of 2,400 seats to be finished by early 2015.

Mainly dedicated to symphonic concerts, the Philharmonie de Paris will also present other forms of music, such as jazz and world music.

The Philharmonie de Paris will accommodate administrative offices for several orchestras, an educational centre, exhibition spaces and a restaurant, as well technical and logistical infrastructure and a car park.

Kersten Europe

Kersten Europe has been awarded bending and mechanical processing of the supporting construction of the curved façade. Tubes Ø219.10x20mm and tubes Ø177.8x8mm have been bent in 3D-shape and cut to size. Kersten Europe also welded perforated brackets on the tubes, carried out surface treatments and Non destructive testing.
