Performing arts venue

There is a performing arts venue located in the center of the park. This venue is right opposite to the entrance pavilion. The performing arts venue is open to all community groups who want to share their artistic aspirations.

This beautifully curved outdoor facility is equiped with state-of-the-art equipment to support outdoor concerts, movies, cultural dances, theatre shows, etc.

Kersten has been asked to bent the unique curved construction of the amphitheatre, the world's largest amphitheatre.

Steel tubes 508x25 have been bent in a three dimensional shape. This had to be done very accurately since the tubes had to fit seamlessly together.
Kersten took advantage of their highly advanced machinery to execute the complex bending work. In total 3 x 95 metres of tube 508x25 has been bent with very small tolerance.

Besides bending work for the performing arts venue, Kersten secured an order for the Souk Market at Mushrif Central Park.
