The new Deira Fish Market

Deira Fish Market

The Deira Fish Market at the Deira Corniche in Dubai has been a tourist attraction since it opened in 1988. It is one of the city's most popular landmarks.
The current Deira fish market will be replaced by a new fully air conditioned eco-friendly fish market directly overlooking the sea.

The market is intended to bridge the past with the future. The fish market will be located on the ground floor of the main building over a space of 35,000 square metres, department stores and a hypermarket will take up the first floor, while the second floor will consist of a multi-purpose hall, offices and a number of coffee shops overlooking the creek. It will total 120,000 square metres of space and is expected to be completed by the middle of 2015.

Kersten Middle East offers perfectly rolled tubes and sections for the curved roof constructions. We delivered 2-dimensional bent rectangular hollow sections 300x200x10mm, square hollow sections 150x150x8mm and tubes 141,3 x 8mm for the curved roof construction.
